Dry needling
Some muscles stay tight even after a good massage. Dry needling is one of the tools I use to work on such points, when it suits the body and the condition.
What is dry needling
Inserting a fine needle into a trigger point in a muscle to release local tension. It is not acupuncture: dry needling works according to the anatomy of the muscle and its trigger points.
What it feels like
Most people feel a small prick, and sometimes a brief twitch of the muscle. The next day the area may feel slightly tender.
Part of a complete treatment
I do not use dry needling on its own. It is part of a treatment that combines deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and Osteopathic techniques, according to what the body needs that day.
My training
I hold a certificate in dry needling. I studied for four years, in practice and in theory, at Broshim, Arazim, The Academic College of Tel Aviv–Yaffo and Moshe Moreno College, and I am a fourth-year osteopathy student. I founded Infinity Therapy, and I treat at its clinics in Hashmonaim and Givatayim.
Before the treatment
In the health declaration I ask about conditions such as blood clotting disorders, and we decide together whether dry needling is right for you. I do not treat pregnant women.

Does dry needling hurt?
There is a small prick, and sometimes a brief twitch of the muscle. You set the limit, and we can stop at any moment.
What is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?
Dry needling works on trigger points in the muscle, based on anatomy. Acupuncture is based on Chinese medicine. I practice dry needling only.
How much does a treatment cost?
Prices are listed in the treatments section on this page. All treatments are discounted, and the discount also applies to the introductory treatment. All prices include VAT.
